Changing the Geographical Area Displayed
The default view displayed on the map is of the entire world. In many circumstances, you need to see a much smaller and more specific geographical area. For example, if your company only sells products in North America, then that is the only portion of the map you want to see. Showing Europe on your report would be extraneous information and would clutter up the map. Crystal Reports gives you many options for setting the geographical area to display.
To set a new geographical area on the map, right-click on the map and select the menu option Resolve Mismatch. This opens the Resolve Mismatch dialog box on the Change Map tab. In the lower left corner is a list of the maps to choose from. This list is pretty extensive and includes maps such as Asia, Australia, Australia Capitols, Europe, France, Germany, etc. You can scroll through this list to see all the options.
On the bottom right side of the dialog box is a preview of the map to be displayed. As you click on the different maps, you get to see what they look like in the preview window before saving it. This dialog box is shown in Figure 14-15.

Once you find the map that shows the geographical area you need, click the OK button to close the dialog box. The map is updated to show the new location.
